Bear Mountain - Big Bear snow report Bear Mountain is home to Southern California's highest lift-served peak sitting at 8,805 feet. With the only half-pipes in So Cal and its famous trendsetting terrain parks, Bear offers a youthful and core environment. Snow Valley - snow report
As you leave the crowded freeways and begin your ascent into the mountains, the sky becomes more blue, and the air more crisp and clear. The scent of pine trees filters into your car and you can feel your stress drift away. Before you know it, after Running Springs you're rounding that last corner with the resort just ahead, right off the highway. This is Snow Valley... Closer Than You Think. (only 8 miles from AAA approved Golden Bear Cottages). Construction of the Snow Valley Express is right on schedule! The Concrete tower foundations are being poured and lift towers will be installed via helicopter in the coming weeks.
The new addition to Snow Valley will be SoCal's 1st and only High-Speed 6 Passenger Detachable Lift, which can transport 2,600 people per hour. Guests can expect to travel over 3/4 of a mile in approximately 4.6 minutes.
